Brand-Rex, with the cooperation of Amper and Cisco, installed the secure data, voice and video network infrastructure for the Tecnimap 2007 in Gijón.

This infrastructure integrated the structured cable, the network electronics and secure high efficiency WiFi architecture using 2.5 km of single mode fibre and 28 km of Cat6Plus copper cable supplied by Brand-Rex.

Tecnimap 2007 provided internet services, WiFi and Security to over 250 stands (which included Telefónica, T-Systems, Cisco, Amper, Avanzit, Telvent and Indra), more than 400 net points, 300 telephone points, 3 hotspots and 12 stand pavilions, making this one of the highest technology architectures globally.

Tecnimap 2007 was visited by over 5000 people.
